A Cautionary Tale

Unfortunately in this day and age it is an arduous process to get any representation to take a matter like this to court.

Companies do not often offer apologies as this can be viewed as an admission of liability. So in most instances they close ranks. This is what happened in my case.
I initially managed to secure legal representation, but only to a certain level as in cases such as these it is preferred that both parties negotiate a settlement out of court.

So, in this instance both myself and PureGym submitted documents in disclosure. To say that PureGyms disclosures were lacking would be an understatement.
They were filled with inconsistences, individuals unrelated to the events and pure fabrications.

Below is a copy of part of the documentation I sent to PureGym that made a critical examination of their flimsy defence documents.
I also have transcripts from the Audio. PureGym decided to not negotiate, apologise or discipline the accused staff member.
Instead they believe that they (PureGym) and their staff have done nothing wrong nor have they injured me in anyway.

Sadly it appears that the standard practice of victim blaming is supported by all levels of Management at PureGym including their SafeSpace Department.

Mr X = Male staff member that sexually harassed me

Mr Z  = Male staff member that sexually harassed me (PureGym gave him 2 different names)

Mr Y = The Manager (who did not inform me he was the Assistant Manager)

CM = Cluster Manager

NT = Note Taker

Miss J = An entirely random person that I believe PureGym attributes as being me.
